Visiting a neighboring town

After playing a day of classes and working out we decided to go on an adventure (aka the TAs would show us an arrow around the university that we had not seen yet).

In the area you could see what most main streets look like in Taiwan (at least the north) but then you can also see what streets in taiwan also looked like by walking down a certain street. (second photo). The buildings used to be made of brick.

The area is also known for this bread that is shaped like horns (kinda reminds me of croissants)

More views of the street and Sandy and I enjoying our bread.

Danielle Whited found this awesome thing and the only option was to take a picture of her wit it. The TAs also showed us a very old and beautiful temple.  The hand carvings were amazing.

It started pouring rain right before we got to the temple so we decided to hide out in the temple and wait out the rain. While hanging out in the temple, we taught each other different games.
