Hong Kong Day 17-last full day

Llama Island

A huge barge we saw as we were on the ferry ride to Llama Island. Llama island is an island you can walk through in about 90mins and no cars are allowed on the island. It is absolutely beautiful. I found a blog that explained a path that allowed you to walk through the whole island so on our last morning we got up a little bit early to go off and explore the island before it got too hot.

We decided to veer off the path (or I wanted to climb to a higher point and they agreed to follow me). Also, this island might not have cars but it has a huge freaking power plant on it. You could see the power plant from like everywhere you looked. I tried really hard to make sure it did not end up in all my photos.

More pretty views and more walking off the path to see what we can find.

This is the path we followed throughout the island.

Also it turned out that Adrian was dragon boat racing off that island so we met up with him before we left.

DSCN2386  May with dried squid. Emily and her loved it.

May, Liz and Vibin were going back to mainland china on Saturday and the rest of us were off to Taiwan and we were sad to separate. We all wanted to stay as one large group.
