After the monastery we went to the Napa Grasslands where we were able to ride horses through the area.
Dwhited was led by a little boy but for whatever reason Dwhited ended up really far away from us so after a little while, the little boy hopped onto the horse with Dwhited and they galloped toward us.
Us in the middle of the grassland having fun.
There were also cows/bulls in the area.
We could not believe how lucky we were to have such a nice day. In the beginning we were led by indigenous people but on the way back we got to ride on our own.If only that was how it worked in the USA. These people had no idea if we knew what we were doing but they let go and just wondered back slowly as we galloped away with our horses. Anne Shen with her guide leaning over the horses neck as they walk through water. While my guide would just walk through water, the other guy apparently did not want to get his shoes wet.
Views we saw as we drove back to Shangri-la Old Town
Anne Shen just ignored the dog that was barking at her as she tried to get the picture she wanted. Luckily the dog was distracted so I got to wonder around the house that was being built and had no dog barking at me.
