DSCN3510 DSCN3511

The next morning I woke up earlier than everyone else so I went and wondered around the old town some more and found a small temple on the edge of the old town as well as the statue in the middle of a square. the day was beautiful. It was the first time we had seen sun in a long long time.

In the evening when we got back from exploring, we had some street food that was in the main square.  Sticks of yack meat (it is the speciality in the area). So delicious. Anne and Dwhited sitting a table that was set up in the  square.

There was also dancing that happened in the square of the Old Town late at night. Eric showing off his new purchase.  It could be used as a neck warmer, hat, headband, and many more things.  It was the last thing he wanted to get before he left for Tibet.  He continues to e-mail us and update us on how his adventures through Tibet are going. He did not know how he would get to TIbet and what side trips he would take along the way.

that evening, he brought us to another place that sold tons of skewers of meat/vegetables.  It was delicious.  Anne and I told him to pick what we should eat and we would try anything so he did but turns out he did not know any better than we did so sometimes we ate things and had no idea what we were eating.

This place was literally a hole in the wall, but we had fun eating all the food.
