BeiHei (a park in Beijing)

IMG_2795 IMG_2805

Me in front of the water at BeiHei and then we found a temple in the middle of the park. Many of these parks were once where the emperor or his family would go. Since the end of the dynasty, these areas have been turned into public parks (a small fee is paid in order to enter). This park is where there locals go on the weekends so it was cool to walk around and see what people tend to do on the weekends.

Emily and Danielle chillen on the walk way and in front of one the structures where people sat to avoid the sun and enjoy some karaoke.

We were not sure what was going on around this pond but people were all chilling and there was a large gathering under that building.

The whole time we were trying to reach the temple that is white and could be seen in the distance. We wanted to see if there were good views from this temple.
